Vox Eminor have booked their plce at ESL One Katowice following a 16-13 victory over dignitas on de_inferno.

Vox Eminor, who started out on the Terrorist side, got off to a flying start in the match and cruised to an early five-round lead after winning the pistol round, in which Azad "⁠topguN⁠" Orami picked up three kills and Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage two following an A push.

In the sixth round, dignitas came close to finally getting their first round, but a perfect afterplant in B from Vox Eminor in a 2on3 situation frustrated the Danish side.

dignitas knew that they had a mountain to climb to turn this around, and Henrik "⁠FeTiSh⁠" Christensen’s men picked up three rounds in a row, the second of which thanks to a quadruple kill from Jacob "⁠Pimp⁠" Winneche in archside and in the library, to reduce the deficit to 3-6. However, some impressive teamplay from Vox saw the Australian side embark on a six-round winning streak for the second time in the match.

Vox Eminor through to next month's major

It looked like Vox Eminor had one foot at the upcoming major already, but dignitas proved them wrong as they got back into the game in convincing fashion by winning the first nine rounds of the half.

Two rounds then went Vox Eminor’s way following some good defensive work in middle, but dignitas pulled one back right after as Nicolaj "⁠Nico⁠" Jensen completed a triple kill by winning a 1on2 clutch with the bomb planted in B. However, that did little in the way of bothering the Australian team, who won the next two rounds to go through to the major.
